This site uses Jekyll and the al-folio theme. The original theme copyright and MIT permission notice are retained in the original license. The notices for the theme packages and other software included in the generated site are retained in third-party notices.

The site title, content, and styling have been adapted for Richard Fang’s personal portfolio.

National park map

The Daily Life map uses Leaflet 1.9.4; its license is included in the third-party notices above. Base map © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database License. Approximate park locations use visitor-center reference points from the National Park Service public GIS dataset. Visit history comes from Richard’s own records.

Research and other media

The Packout / Gridfinity model preview on Daily Life is based on Packout 3 Drawer Gridfinity System by Fidgetthings, licensed CC BY-NC 4.0 in the downloaded model guide. The preview is a new rendering with display colors, lighting, and camera placement; the original model geometry is unchanged. The design is credited to its creator; Richard’s entry concerns personal 3D printing.

Research papers, figures, videos, photographs, and logos retain the rights of their respective authors and rights holders. The software licenses above do not grant a license to reuse these materials.

  • Autoclave modeling: Yao Sun, Hongsen Fang (Richard Fang), Lu Li, and Dianyun Zhang, ASC 2026, Paper 93; the poster identifies Yao Sun as presenter.
  • AFP sensing & experiments: the three experimental figures are team materials; Richard contributed to temperature recording. Their source copyright notice is retained: “Copyright 2025. Used by the Society of the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering with permission.” The later instrumentation photograph and dashboard screenshots are separate materials supplied by Richard.
  • Infusion / TPS: Purdue and AnalySwift, Phase I progress review, January 5, 2026. Richard developed the Purdue-side models shown in the case study; collaborator contributions are identified there.

Each case study identifies its sources and the scope of Richard’s contribution. Original document notices are preserved in the supplied PDFs.
